Victor Karmel came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Paublo could save by the left post. Clodoveo Santana hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ghelfi FC's Celso Darien got a free kick in the 21st minute. Victor Karmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marcos Paublo made a huge save. 31 minutes into the game, Victor Karmel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Paublo. Victor Karmel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Ghelfi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Sendoa came free, but Marcos Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ghelfi FC booed when centralfc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Juvenal to make the kick off. Ghelfi FC's Marcos Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Santana in the 63rd minute of play. Domingo Juvenal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Abalos having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Santana during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Karmel in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Domingo Juvenal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghelfi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave centralfc the free kick. After 77 played minutes Ghelfi FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Juvenal. In the 82nd minute, Domingo Juvenal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Maximiliano Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Azubeli took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Paublo. Marcos Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 95 minutes into the game, Arsenio Sendoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marcos Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. centralfc fully deserved thier win.
