The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to JPZ getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gilberto Fernandes hit a great ball. JPZ's Christian Senen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save JPZ from getting a goal against them. If Celestino Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Mikeldi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes JPZ got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Txindoki. 27 minutes into the game, Tobias Pepillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Senen. Tobias Pepillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Celestino Beltran came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by JPZ's Celestino Txindoki. But to his dismay, Celestino Txindoki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Peto Chico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JPZ were winning 1-2.

Hector Bakar's late challenge caught a Peto Chico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Bakar helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes JPZ got a freekick which was hit by Hector Bakar. Christian Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Federico Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, JPZ's Gilberto Fernandes got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Basilio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Federico Frasquito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Senen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Christian Senen came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Peto Chico's Federico Frasquito. But to his dismay, Federico Frasquito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Peto Chico's Celestino Beltran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Peto Chico from getting a goal against them. Peto Chico's Basilio Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Peto Chico's Jonas Iraunkor got a free kick in the 91st minute. Christian Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Lopez in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marcelino Eder managed to get in a good position for a shot. JPZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Eder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
