An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Lopez in the 4th minute of play forced A.A Banda Norte's goalkeeper Marcelo Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basilio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Basilio Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Federico Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Celestino Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.A Banda Norte's goalkeeper Marcelo Licerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes A.A Banda Norte got a freekick which was hit by Victor Arnalt. 31 minutes into the match, Peto Chico's Eleuterio Misael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Peto Chico's Federico Frasquito in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A Banda Norte's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute, Melquiades Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Orkatz got free with Celestino Beltran in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Melquiades Mikeldi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. After 36 played minutes Peto Chico got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Mikeldi. Delmiro Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Celestino Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A Banda Norte. Marcelo Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Rolando Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peto Chico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Peto Chico booed when A.A Banda Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Frasquito to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Federico Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peto Chico's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Celestino Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Peto Chico getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Basilio Lopez hit a great ball. Silvano Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Beltran having to interfere. Delmiro Orkatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celestino Beltran came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A Banda Norte's Silvano Maxin. But to his dismay, Silvano Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Celestino Beltran came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A Banda Norte's Matias Salbatore. But to his dismay, Matias Salbatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcelo Licerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Frasquito in the 71st minute. Teofilo Loren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Peto Chico's Federico Frasquito got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Delmiro Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Beltran having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Jonas Iraunkor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peto Chico and the A.A Banda Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A.A Banda Norte booed when Peto Chico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Peto Chico's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Maxin came free, but Celestino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Beltran having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peto Chico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.A Banda Norte.
