The referee ignored Club Atletico River Plate's protests and gave Cirilo Cordarius a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Urdampilleta's Gavino Uhin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vinicio Reus. After having played for 54 minutes, Leandro Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urdampilleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Estebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Urdampilleta's Fabricio Bernal in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Iratze was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cleto Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Fabricio Bernal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Reus. Club Atletico River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabricio Bernal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Fabricio Bernal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Reus. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Reus should have stopped the shot. If Fabricio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Estebe took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Reus. Vinicio Reus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 90 minutes into the match, Urdampilleta's Fabricio Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Reus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Urdampilleta's Leandro Estebe in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Urdampilleta fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
