Marcos Sanduru's late challenge caught a Salto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Sanduru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Marcos Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erubiel Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Gonchan made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Freddy Hermon sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Freddy Hermon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Esiquio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Esiquio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Esiquio. Thanks to some nice moves Freddy Hermon could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Maximo Gonchan however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Salto's Patricio Esiquio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Teobaldo Nicholas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Freddy Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Maximo Gonchan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Martxot. Salto's Maximo Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Nicholas in the 84th minute of play. Freddy Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximo Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when A.C. CAPACCIO's Teobaldo Nicholas in the 90th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Maximo Gonchan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Salto through an amazing save. Maximo Gonchan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Hermon went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
