But to his dismay, Primitivo Bartolome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marcos Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Montel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ivan Abeita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes Garibaldi FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Benvide. Aureliano Eutor, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Marcos Menendo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tesorieri FC's Ivan Abeita. Ivan Abeita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Menendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Abeita having to make a save. The Tesorieri FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garibaldi FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Marcos Menendo made the kick off in the second half. If Marcos Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Menendo in the 56th minute of play forced Tesorieri FC's goalkeeper Ivan Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 58 in the game by Arnoldo Montel from a close distance when the talented Ivan Abeita managed to make a qualified save. Tesorieri FC's players were relieved. In the 61st minute, Orlando Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tesorieri FC's Ivan Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Montel in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Garibaldi FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Orlando Rivero hit a great ball. Ivan Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Menendo in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Garibaldi FC's zone, Marcelino Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Urki came out of the goal and Marcelino Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Benvide charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Benvide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Garibaldi FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Victorino Benvide hit a great ball. Marcelino Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcelo Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Garibaldi FC's Ivan Abeita threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Menendo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 88 minutes, Arnoldo Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garibaldi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Montel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tesorieri FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jaime Laurin hit a great ball. Arnoldo Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Abeita having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garibaldi FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
