Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dionisio Larra started the match with the kick off. Dionisio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Pueblo having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Dionisio Larra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solitario F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Larra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dionisio Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Anundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pipo Palomo's Hilario Lehoi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Claudio Bizen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Leif Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcos Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Larra's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Solitario F.C.'s Aurelio Peio got control of the ball when Claudio Bizen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Dionisio Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Solitario F.C.'s Dionisio Larra in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pipo Palomo's goalie prevented a goal. If Lorenzo Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Larra in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Pueblo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Solitario F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Solitario F.C.'s Dionisio Larra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Ekialde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Marcos Pueblo managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Solitario F.C.'s Leif Anundsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dionisio Larra hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Dionisio Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Anundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dionisio Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Leif Anundsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Pueblo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. With a little luck, Pipo Palomo's Marcos Pueblo got control of the ball when Dionisio Larra tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Dionisio Larra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Marcos Pueblo managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Solitario F.C.'s Dionisio Larra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcos Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Larra in the 93rd minute of the match. Aurelio Peio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Solitario F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pipo Palomo throughout the match.
