Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Denis Mannie started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Mannie in the 4th minute of play forced Ferri's goalkeeper Raul Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Denis Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Denis Mannie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferri's Raul Dunixi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Cornelio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, sabalero's Patricio Naelio tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Severino Stephen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Dunixi skillfully saved the ball. Raul Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Mannie in the 29th minute of play. Ferri's Cornelio Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, sabalero's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Eusko came free, but Blas Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Theobald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Eusko in the 37th minute of play. Cornelio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Theobald having to interfere. Raul Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Mannie in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ferri's Salvador Eusko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Theobald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Eusko in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Theobald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Eusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Theobald having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in sabalero's zone, Salvador Eusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Theobald came out of the goal and Salvador Eusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Severino Stephen put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in sabalero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Cornelio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Theobald having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ferri defense, Fermin Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Dunixi. The Ferri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Cornelio Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Blas Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. sabalero's Blas Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Eusko in the 81st minute of play. Blas Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Dunixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Belarmo in the 88th minute. sabalero's Blas Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Eusko in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Severo Belarmo. Blas Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Lopes in the 92nd minute of the match. Raul Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Rubio went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The sabalero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing sabalero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
