Alberta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Dominic during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Dominic to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Arotza got free with Saturnino Toribio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saturnino Toribio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Omero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Loiola during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, tigres's Fernan Vedillo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Leandro Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Charro having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Severiano Arotza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Saturnino Toribio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Marcial Osoitz fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alberta FC's protests and gave Marcial Osoitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Alberta FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Osoitz. Astor Oskarbi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Charro. Melquiades Charro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Julio Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alberta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Salamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Charro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Charro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leon Ihintza. After 88 minutes of play, Alberta FC's Julio Salamon made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoriano Ciano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Severiano Arotza succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Alberta FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
