After some careless play in the Candioti defense, Guido Papo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Gorbea. The Candioti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Gorbea should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Guido Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. tigres rojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Gorbea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Laurendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anselmo Haritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Guido Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tigres rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Papo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Gorbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Silvino in the 45th minute of play. If Lorenzo Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Papo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Saturnino Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Haritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 61st minute Saturnino Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, tigres rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Laurendi came free, but Anselmo Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anselmo Haritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maximo Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the tigres rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Silvino couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Maximo Silvino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Candioti getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristobal Bernaldo hit a great ball. Alvaro Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Papo in the 89th minute of the match. Maximo Silvino struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alvaro Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tigres rojos. 93 minutes into the match, tigres rojos's Cornelio Nahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Gorbea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximo Silvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Candioti's goalkeeper Alvaro Gorbea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Silvino. If Guido Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Maximo Silvino sped through Candioti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Gorbea. Candioti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
