Orlan Serbia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Socorro Atacan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Justino Nastasio's late challenge caught a Farillón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Nastasio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Anyway FC's Justino Nastasio got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Niceto Remigio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlan Serbia skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Socorro Atacan to make the kick off. When Jarbas Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farillón FC's protests and gave Jarbas Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Farillón FC! Cipriano Correia had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ruperto Matthew's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Farillón FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute of the match Anyway FC got a corner. Farillón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruperto Matthew ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute, Angelino Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Leandro Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farillón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Socorro Atacan in the 81st minute of play forced Anyway FC's goalkeeper Orlan Serbia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Anyway FC booed when Farillón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Abelardo Rik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Although Farillón FC had been in control for most of the match, Anyway FC still came away with the win.
