Oscar Perez scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Etor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tebaldo Celada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benja y Mate's supporters rose to their feet, but Tebaldo Celada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Etor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tebaldo Celada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tebaldo Celada was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Punua's Rolando Silban got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tebaldo Celada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elpidio Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Salvino. The supporters of Benja y Mate booed when Punua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Elpidio Etor made a huge save. 60 minutes in the game, Javier Sabio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elpidio Etor having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Benja y Mate's Oscar Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Etor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 69 minutes into the game, Cosme Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benja y Mate the free kick. Cosme Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Punua's Saturnino Salvino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tebaldo Celada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Etor having to interfere. Mariano Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Silban in the 79th minute of the match. Urbano Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tebaldo Celada did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Elpidio Etor 85 minutes into the match. If Oscar Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 minutes of play, Benja y Mate's Oscar Perez made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Etor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Benja y Mate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Punua throughout the match.
