Astor Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tebaldo Celada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Jatsu having to interfere. If Tebaldo Celada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Tebaldo Celada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benja y Mate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nicasio Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Miro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Urtungo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Benja y Mate's Mariano Urtungo got control of the ball when Astor Ireno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Mariano Urtungo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 28 minutes of play, Benja y Mate's Oscar Perez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Jatsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Bernabe Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bernabe Niva hit a great ball. If Tebaldo Celada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Perez in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Urtsua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesus Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mariano Urtungo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Chicago. Javier Sabio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Jatsu having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Benja y Mate's Tebaldo Celada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Oscar Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Jatsu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute, Benja y Mate's Tebaldo Celada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Candido Jatsu. Candido Jatsu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 64 minutes in the game, Tebaldo Celada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Candido Jatsu having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Astor Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Benja y Mate's Tebaldo Celada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Nicasio Miro took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Urtungo. Mariano Urtungo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Candido Jatsu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tebaldo Celada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
