The Las Condes Fútbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Las Condes Fútbol Club's Ildefonso Teofilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Independiente Rivadavia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Silvio Lonzo hit a great ball. Tobias Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jose Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Lehoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Cordeara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Teofilio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tobias Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Condes Fútbol Club. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Pedro Ibon got a free kick in the 35th minute. Silvio Lonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Lonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Lonzo. In the 42nd minute, Desiderio Aballe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Las Condes Fútbol Club's Ildefonso Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Las Condes Fútbol Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Gilberto Uzuri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Epifanio Constancio got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Ildefonso Teofilio came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Las Condes Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Teofilio couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Omero having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Aballe in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Omero saved Independiente Rivadavia from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Teofilio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Independiente Rivadavia's Tobias Omero. Tobias Omero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Teofilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Omero having to make a save. Francisco Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Lehoi in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Ildefonso Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Condes Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Teofilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Desiderio Aballe took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tobias Omero to make any attempt to save it. Independiente Rivadavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Desiderio Aballe scored to the left of an out of position Tobias Omero, making the score, 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Aballe came free, but Tobias Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jose Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Omero was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Desiderio Aballe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desiderio Aballe really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Las Condes Fútbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
