The Laborde AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil were winning 0-1.

Damaso Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Remir in the 57th minute of play. Maximo Natanael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Damaso Sauveur made a huge save. Damaso Sauveur came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Maximo Natanael. But to his dismay, Maximo Natanael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacobo Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Laborde AFC's Damaso Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Remir in the 68th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Lorenzo Johans got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Damaso Sauveur. The referee ignored Laborde AFC's protests and gave Jacobo Libertad a yellow card for diving instead. Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Paulino Remir got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Damaso Sauveur threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulino Remir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90thth minute of the game Paulino Remir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laborde AFC's Damaso Sauveur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
