After having played for 6 minutes, Mario Tibalt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The goalkeeper, Tiburcio Gelacio, was totally fooled by El Barza FC's Jairo Marino, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Modesto Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonatan Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Godfredo Argina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Barza FC and the Galvez AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Barza FC's Godfredo Argina got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Locaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 minutes El Barza FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victoriano Erauso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victoriano Erauso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Barza FC's Jonatan Montae did a great save. Gabriel Poncio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Gelacio. Galvez AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonatan Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Norino in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Leonides Urbes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Montae. El Barza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Urbes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Rioja was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, El Barza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes, Eliseo Locaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galvez AFC and the El Barza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Galvez AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eliseo Locaio hit a great ball. Jonatan Montae came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Galvez AFC's Leonides Urbes. But to his dismay, Leonides Urbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute Modesto Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Galvez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Bernad to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Montae was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Rodolfo Bautista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Bautista really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 88th minute, Enrique Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Tibalt took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Gelacio. Tiburcio Gelacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
