Espinillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorzal Criollo the free kick. A collision led to Espinillo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aquiles Nataniel hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Clodoveo Baldovino made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Acosta. Zorzal Criollo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Erubiel Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Eskuin. Dante Polo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Obeko having to make a save. Amancio Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Obeko having to interfere. Marco Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Valentine was the one to do the kick off. Erubiel Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Obeko having to interfere. Zorzal Criollo's Cecilio Acosta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Zorzal Criollo from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Zorzal Criollo's goalkeeper Cecilio Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Baldovino. When Erubiel Valentine came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Zorzal Criollo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Valentine couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Espinillo's Eugenio Argider got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Erubiel Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorzal Criollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Nataniel. Clodoveo Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Cecilio Acosta made a huge save. If Erubiel Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Baldovino took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Acosta. Cecilio Acosta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Espinillo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Zorzal Criollo's much stronger midfield.
