In the 32nd minute, Firsag FC's Roque Evarado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santo Ezkerra. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Garaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Gasteiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Garaona ran back to his position shaking his head.

Alejo Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes, Abelardo Juvenal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firsag FC and the Cyanide FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cyanide FC booed when Firsag FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyanide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Firsag FC's Luis Araoz got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alejo Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cyanide FC's zone, Roque Evarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Ezkerra came out of the goal and Roque Evarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, Cyanide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Garaona to maneuver through the defense. Santo Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Evarado in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Firsag FC's Sixto Iliana got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hugo Palben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Gasteiz having to make a save. Alejo Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Evarado in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Ezkerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Roque Evarado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Ezkerra was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Hugo Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Ezkerra having to interfere. The Firsag FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
