After a rather tough play, Galga United's Honorato Jaunti got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galga United's zone, Severiano Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Betadur came out of the goal and Severiano Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Atarrabi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Chajarí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Casado came free, but Guaberto Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chajarí FC's Guaberto Nel got control of the ball when Baldomero Pes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomero Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Nel having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Galga United's Cesar Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Galga United's Arnoldo Cedro got a free kick in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Cesar Casado took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Guaberto Nel to make any attempt to save it. Galga United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
