Hermengildo Berdoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Silban's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Feliberto Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Banda del Sur's Prospero Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes, La Banda del Sur's Aristides Pelayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Tiso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Banda del Sur reached it. After having played for 82 minutes, Feliberto Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAFO ATHLETIC FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, David Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Su's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Tiso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. If Feliberto Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
