With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Ferrer in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Nel saved Chajarí FC from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Marcelo Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramblones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelo Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Chajarí FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Nel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Sabin. Rafael Tabby hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Eliseo Mateus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Guaberto Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Chajarí FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Incendio. Bernardo Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chajarí FC's Salvador Atarrabi in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ramblones's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Chajarí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Ferrer came free, but Guaberto Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Salvador Atarrabi made the kick off in the second half. When Eliseo Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Chajarí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mateus couldn't finish the play. Salvador Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Severiano Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chajarí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Perico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Ramblones's Jimeno Sugar got control of the ball when Eliseo Mateus tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Severiano Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jimeno Sugar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Leonides Regis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimeno Sugar. Leonides Regis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jaime Medardo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guaberto Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Salvador Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Sugar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Regis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jimeno Sugar made a huge save. After 78 played minutes Ramblones got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Sabin. After a defensive mix-up in Ramblones's zone, Leonides Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Sugar came out of the goal and Leonides Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Sugar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Ramblones got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Oier. When Eliseo Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chajarí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mateus couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Ramblones's goalkeeper Jimeno Sugar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Mateus.
