After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Felix Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napaleofú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Belmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Belmiro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Osmundo saved Ananá from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Ananá's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Inge came free, but Osvaldo Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Belmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
