After a defensive mix-up in Tocota FC's zone, Angelino Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Lopez came out of the goal and Angelino Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Acebal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Luisito Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocota FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Ospin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Luisito Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Rafe scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes, Celedonio Loramendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acebal and the Tocota FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Acebal's Ismael Felipo got control of the ball when Feliciano Malvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Feliciano Oier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocota FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acebal the free kick. After 55 played minutes Tocota FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Oier. After 56 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Rafe. Acebal's Ismael Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Ospin in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute Angelino Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Tocota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Dominix came free, but Ovidio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Ospin in the 70th minute of play forced Acebal's goalkeeper Ismael Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Ospin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Tocota FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 75 minutes into the match, Acebal's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Ospin came free, but Ismael Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ovidio Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Cayetano Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Rafe struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ovidio Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acebal. Cayetano Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
