Spectators: 6979 (Terracing: 5175, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 138) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angelino Dominix started the match with the kick off. Ismael Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Kaiet in the 6th minute of the match. Camilo Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute Leopoldo Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Severino Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Rafe. Igor Colon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Erasmo Porfirio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupandú FC's protests and gave Erasmo Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Erasmo Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Cayetano Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Acebal's Celedonio Loramendi got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Hugo Quinito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Felipo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Angelino Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Acebal's Rogelio Errolan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Lucero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Severino Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Acebal getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eriberto Caradaro hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Leopoldo Eusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yupandú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Eusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Isidoro Manuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acebal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yupandú FC the free kick. Severino Lucero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Dominix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Eusko to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Acebal's Eriberto Caradaro got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Acebal booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Severino Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Eusko in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Felipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acebal's goalkeeper Ismael Felipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Acebal's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Eusko came free, but Ismael Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Lucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Angelino Dominix took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Lucero. Severino Lucero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Yupandú FC's Camilo Kaiet got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
