Carlos Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Izotz having to interfere. Sebastian Vela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Izotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Vachon in the 20th minute of play forced Ramos Mejia Gunners's goalkeeper Eduardo Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Carlos Vachon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ramos Mejia Gunners's Eduardo Izotz. Eduardo Izotz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes of play, Club Atletico VillaModelo's Carlos Vachon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Izotz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmiro Txurio's late challenge caught a Ramos Mejia Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Txurio helped the player get up and apologised. Delmiro Txurio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gerardo Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Esteve Basualdo made a huge save. When Nicanor Koldobika got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Esteve Basualdo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Gerardo Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ramos Mejia Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Bakar couldn't finish the play.

In the 52nd minute, Nicanor Koldobika made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Basualdo. Club Atletico VillaModelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Eduardo Izotz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carlos Vachon sent off a good shot on target. Nicanor Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Basualdo having to interfere. Nicanor Koldobika struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Esteve Basualdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramos Mejia Gunners. Esteve Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Bakar in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Carlos Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico VillaModelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cecilio Etor took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Izotz. Eduardo Izotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico VillaModelo's Carlos Vachon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Izotz. That made the score 2-4 after 84 minutes of play. Nicanor Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Esteve Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico VillaModelo's zone, Gerardo Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Basualdo came out of the goal and Gerardo Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
