Sacachispas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Corderall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Jatsu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The supporters of Chatruc FC booed when Sacachispas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Sacachispas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ortle came free, but Gilberto Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Chatruc FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
