In the 34th minute Hector Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Vela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Errapel. A collision led to Morse getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristian Pelayo hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
