Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Almafuerte's Cristian Sidoro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Elia came free, but Baltasar Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Pedroso having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almafuerte's goalkeeper Baltasar Maura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Elia came free, but Baltasar Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Osoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almafuerte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herbaloides the free kick. Teobaldo Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Jerano in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Maura saved Almafuerte from getting behind. Angelo Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Baltasar Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Elia in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Placido Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Almafuerte getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Teobaldo Osoitz hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Osoitz. The audience was convinced that Angelo Jerano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Maura was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Cipriano Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Pedroso having to interfere. Hernan Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Maura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. Placido Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Herensuge in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Jerano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Elia in the 52nd minute of play forced Almafuerte's goalkeeper Baltasar Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Jose Quintan. If Angelo Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Angelo Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Maura made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jorge Elia sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Herensuge during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte's Cipriano Herensuge got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Jose Quintan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almafuerte's protests and gave Jose Quintan a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Quintan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Placido Pedroso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sidoro's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jorge Elia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cipriano Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sidoro in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
