Geronimo Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Santa Boca FC's Cornelio Brais seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cornelio Brais the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santa Boca FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cornelio Brais had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santa Boca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Borrachines CF's zone, Dario Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Txartiko came out of the goal and Dario Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Ovando made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cayetano Frans sent off a good shot on target. When Dionisio Pirmin fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Boca FC's protests and gave Dionisio Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. When Cayetano Frans came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Borrachines CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Frans couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Ovando made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cayetano Frans sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Raitin to make the kick off. Geronimo Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tobias Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tobias Giraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Boca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Giraldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Txartiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 minutes of play Borrachines CF's Leonardo Cordarell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th match minute, Borrachines CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. If Tobias Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Santa Boca FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borrachines CF.
