In the 23rd minute Froilan Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Admon in the 24th minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Froilan Ticho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beruti AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ruben Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eustaquio Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Ticho came free, but Eustaquio Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Independiente FC's Eustaquio Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Vigil in the 43rd minute of play. Eustaquio Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Ticho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Eustaquio Ongile came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Beruti AFC's Jaime Berriotxoa. But to his dismay, Jaime Berriotxoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

Eustaquio Ongile made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lino Vigil sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Frederik in the 55th minute. Eustaquio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Ticho in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Marcial Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ruben Librado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the game, Froilan Ticho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustaquio Ongile. Froilan Ticho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. After 67 minutes of play, Beruti AFC's Lino Vigil made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Beruti AFC booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Marcial Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-6. Ruben Librado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Obano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Librado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Obano ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Vigil charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Vigil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Ticho in the 85th minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Ongile made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lino Vigil sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute Froilan Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
