The long shot by Jose Efraim in the 17th minute really tested Gustavo Darien's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Raymond during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Damian Chago made a precise shot to the right of Leon Jatsu. La maquina de River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gualeguay FC's Leonides Ciceron got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 69 played minutes La maquina de River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Nevada. In the 75th minute, Leonel Roland fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 79th minute, Ramiro Raymond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualeguay FC's Arnoldo Sancho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leon Jatsu but with some difficulty. Damian Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leon Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
