After 8 minutes, Felipe Nisio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEARTS and the Viento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gică Floruțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Abelardo Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gică Floruțiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Asur was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Leheren got free with Faustino Librado in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Viento FC booed when HEARTS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Conrado Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viento FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Gustau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gică Floruțiu in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Asur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gică Floruțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Paz made a kick off. Gică Floruțiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Asur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Gică Floruțiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Abelardo Asur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Erasmo Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Viento FC fans jumped to their feet. Gică Floruțiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Asur came out and tried to block the shot, but Gică Floruțiu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Floruțiu in the 73rd minute of play forced HEARTS's goalkeeper Abelardo Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Paz in the 77th minute of play forced Viento FC's goalkeeper Faustino Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Conrado Gustau fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viento FC's protests and gave Conrado Gustau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Conrado Gustau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Paz in the 81st minute of play. Viento FC's Conrado Gustau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anastasio Esdras in the 85 minute of the game. If Domingo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Viento FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HEARTS.
