The supporters of Rancul FC booed when Temperley 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Julio Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Temperley 1982's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Octavio Salomone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Temperley 1982 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rene Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Reynardo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rancul FC's zone, Octavio Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Reynardo came out of the goal and Octavio Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Rancul FC's Edelmiro Chale threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emilio Peter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Julio Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Chale having to interfere. Edelmiro Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Iaki in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Feliciano Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Temperley 1982 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aurelio Guter hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Temperley 1982's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Iaki to strike the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Iaki in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Julio Iaki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Chale was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 66th minute Julio Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Rancul FC's Julio Iaki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Chale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ceferino Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Teo Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Reynardo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Chants of Temperley 1982 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rancul FC had held the ball for most of the match.
