Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tadeo Acosta made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Janimas FC's zone, Tadeo Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Joey came out of the goal and Tadeo Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Acosta in the 11th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Dario Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gizon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Janimas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Acosta came free, but Maximiliano Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Acosta's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A collision led to Janimas FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gualterio Rafe hit a great ball. Dario Quilo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Lucas Baumer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Gizon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Despertador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Baumer came free, but Delmar Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes of play, Janimas FC's Conrado Ricart made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Gizon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Janimas FC's Lucas Baumer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Gizon. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. Tadeo Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Dominguez charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Dominguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Dario Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janimas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Gizon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Ulises Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match, Lucas Baumer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delmar Gizon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the match, Despertador FC's goalkeeper Delmar Gizon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Mouricio. 72 minutes into the match, Despertador FC's Tadeo Acosta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 minutes, Lucas Baumer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Janimas FC and the Despertador FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Acosta in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Joey saved Janimas FC from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Tadeo Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despertador FC's Sergio Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeo Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Although Despertador FC had been in control for most of the match, Janimas FC still came away with the win.
