An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Crispo in the 6th minute of play forced Temperley 1982's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Chale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Donzel's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Adolfo Ugutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley 1982's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres United FC the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Crispo couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Donzel charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Donzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Edelmiro Chale saved Temperley 1982 from getting behind. In the 95th minute Ceferino Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Ostots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Talleres United FC's Anastasio Crispo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Chale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Anastasio Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Talleres United FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
