The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teofilo Jayvier struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Esteban Enaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hortensia AFC. Anier Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliberto Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Jayvier in the 30th minute of play forced Plomer AFC's goalkeeper Esteban Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Urtuns short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Feliberto Frechoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, Plomer AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Jayvier came free, but Esteban Enaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Plomer AFC defense, Paulino Lain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Enaut. The Plomer AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Enaut should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Plomer AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Delfino. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Teofilo Jayvier made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Plomer AFC's Esteban Enaut got control of the ball when Paulino Lain tried to sneak it across the goal line.
