In the 6th minute, Tadeo Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Chale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13thth minute of the game Tadeo Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temperley 1982's Edelmiro Chale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes Temperley 1982's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filomeno Dominguez who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Filomeno Dominguez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Chale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute, Jonatan Remicio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Gizon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mauro Loreto. Delmar Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Salomone in the 25th minute of the match. Temperley 1982's Edelmiro Chale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Orlondon took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Gizon. Delmar Gizon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, Tadeo Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Chale. Temperley 1982's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half Despertador FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tadeo Acosta made the kick off in the second half. Delmar Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Delmar Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Orlondon in the 56th minute of the match. Edelmiro Chale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Acosta's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Rene Orlondon's late challenge caught a Despertador FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Octavio Salomone elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley 1982's zone, Tadeo Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Chale came out of the goal and Tadeo Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, one of Despertador FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Delmar Gizon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ibon in the 96th minute of play.
