After a defensive mix-up in Chiwenwenchas's zone, Jacobo Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Tibalt came out of the goal and Jacobo Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sebastian Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Turungun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Bastia couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Rafe struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jaime Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turungun. Sebastian Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jeremias Gartzea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Apolo Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chiwenwenchas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
