After some careless play in the DivididedByJoy F.C. defense, Virgilio Gagriel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Astudillo. The DivididedByJoy F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Astudillo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Martillos FC booed when DivididedByJoy F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9th play minutes Teodoro Benitez shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Astudillo and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Benitez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lino Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ladislao Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martillos FC's protests and gave Ladislao Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Ladislao Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Teodoro Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Astudillo. DivididedByJoy F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Marcelino Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Osvaldo Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Benitez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Teodoro Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelino Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Benitez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Astudillo was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind DivididedByJoy F.C.'s goalkeeper Osvaldo Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teodoro Benitez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Teodoro Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Astudillo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Martillos FC's Teodoro Benitez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. DivididedByJoy F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martillos FC the free kick. A collision led to DivididedByJoy F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Adrian Tulio hit a great ball. After 92 minutes DivididedByJoy F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santo Montay who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Martillos FC's Santo Montay to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Astudillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The DivididedByJoy F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Martillos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
