After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Teo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canallas RC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Bieito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Teo Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Canallas RC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Crispo came free, but Gervasio Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Rioja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Crispo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Candido Ovando fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canallas RC's protests and gave Candido Ovando a yellow card for diving instead. Candido Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Jacob in the 43rd minute of play forced Canallas RC's goalkeeper Gervasio Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robustiano Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Jurdan made a kick off. After 59 played minutes Canallas RC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Isadore. In the 60th minute of the match Gaston Gudesteo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Rioja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Canallas RC's Horacio Berriotxoa got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hilario Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Jurdan scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Bieito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alonzo Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Rioja having to interfere. Gervasio Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Ricardone's Godofredo Ruy got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Canallas RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Canallas RC's Teo Jurdan fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Hilario Bieito was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Ricardone's Bernardino Pelagius got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canallas RC's Gervasio Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Pelagius in the 89th minute of play. Maximino Isadore charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Isadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Canallas RC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Isadore. Horacio Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hilario Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Bieito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Jurdan in the 98th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
