After 3 minutes, Eloy Heriberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayuela FC and the Canallas RC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Heriberto hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Teo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Benigno Oriche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canallas RC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayuela FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Benigno Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes Luis Chuse shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Gervasio Rioja when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Camilo Jerrald scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Rioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Camilo Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Rayuela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Jerrald couldn't finish the play. With his leg German Gipuzkoa managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Canallas RC's Horacio Berriotxoa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Canallas RC's zone, Camilo Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Rioja came out of the goal and Camilo Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camilo Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascual Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Canallas RC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Manni. Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Camilo Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rayuela FC's Eloy Heriberto got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luis Chuse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayuela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Chuse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Luis Chuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayuela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Chuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Camilo Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canallas RC's Gervasio Rioja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Camilo Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Teo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canallas RC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Jerrald in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Luis Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Rioja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Jerrald in the 70th minute. When Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canallas RC's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gervasio Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayuela FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Jerrald in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luis Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Jerrald's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Gervasio Rioja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Canallas RC's Gervasio Rioja got control of the ball when Romeo Herena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rayuela FC's German Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Jurdan in the 93rd minute of play. German Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Rayuela FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Canallas RC.
