Igor Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Vides having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Norfolk City's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ritchie came free, but Alessandro Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Ritchie in the 23rd minute of the match. Alessandro Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Ritchie scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Vides, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RIVER's Ramon Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Norfolk City's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ritchie came free, but Alessandro Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Norfolk City defense, Igor Ritchie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Vides. The Norfolk City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Vides should have stopped the shot. The Norfolk City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RIVER were winning 1-2.

Silverio Herena hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Igor Ritchie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alessandro Vides. The goal made the score 1-3. Alessandro Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Ritchie in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Silverio Padro came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Norfolk City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Padro couldn't finish the play. Alessandro Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 97th minute, Norfolk City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Ritchie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Norfolk City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RIVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
