To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. Leo Messi's Angelino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Perutxo in the 14th minute of play. Aurelio Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angelino Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Adrian Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Leo Messi's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Ugaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aurelio Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Menucos fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Perutxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Haimar was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. C.A. Leo Messi's Baldomiro Etor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Godfredo Asier but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Ugaitz was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Justo Panfilo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Angelino Haimar to make any attempt to save it. Leo Messi and deserved their victory. The C.A. Leo Messi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
