After having played for 22 minutes, Tadeo Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atenas -cba-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Tirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Sagrario in the 28th minute of the match. Cornelio Cai charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Cai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Atenas -cba- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Cai to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Gudesteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Cristofor in the 31st minute. Baltasar Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Estavan in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Tadeo Tirso put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Rufo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Baltasar Rufo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Gudesteo was relentless in the 66th minute of the game.
