The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciriaco Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Marciano Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Piñalitos AFC's Niceto Dantae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Vergaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Piñalitos AFC's Jaime Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Oriche in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Piñalitos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Endira. Jaime Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Oriche in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tadeo Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghama RFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Mendebal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeo Oriche showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. If Ambrosio Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeo Oriche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Mendebal. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. The supporters of Ghama RFC booed when Piñalitos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Mendebal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Tadeo Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghama RFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Iztal to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Oriche in the 55th minute of play forced Piñalitos AFC's goalkeeper Jaime Mendebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Vergaray having to interfere. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ciriaco Iztal sped through Ghama RFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Vergaray. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Iztal in the 71st minute of play forced Ghama RFC's goalkeeper Marciano Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Piñalitos AFC's Niceto Dantae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Vergaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Endira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ambrosio Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Mendebal having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriaco Iztal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marciano Vergaray. That made the score 2-4 in the 89 minute of play. Piñalitos AFC's Jaime Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Adrio in the 96th minute of play. Marciano Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Iztal in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Piñalitos AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
