In the 4th minute, one of Marull:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marull. Paulo Gipuzkoa had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Eustaquio Maureo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Paulino Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Hegoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marull's Paulo Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Hegoi in the 11th minute of play. If Alejandro Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Oalo made a kick off. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
