In the 59th minute, Paulino Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonides Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Joanes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Rubio came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Joanes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 67th minute. Baldomiro Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonides Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD booed when Cabred F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Leonides Rubio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Alejandro Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Joanes couldn't finish the play. If Guido Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Nardo having to interfere. Leonides Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Procopio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
