If Maximo Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Charrúa's Rodrigo Gutxi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Deportivo Charrúa's Elias Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Pelayo in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. José AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
