The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Victorino Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored InZano Grosso FC's protests and gave Victorino Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes into the game, Deportivo Charrúa's Flavio Gutxi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Baumar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, InZano Grosso FC's Rosendo Baumar got control of the ball when Flavio Gutxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Flavio Gutxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Charrúa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Deportivo Charrúa booed when InZano Grosso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Pedroso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rosendo Baumar firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Angel Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to InZano Grosso FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Geronimo Aragones hit a great ball. When Flavio Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Deportivo Charrúa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Gutxi couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the InZano Grosso FC defense, Javier Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Baumar. The InZano Grosso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Baumar should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tino in the 45th minute of play. Javier Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Tino to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Tino in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Javier Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes InZano Grosso FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Aragones. Rosendo Baumar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Elias Geleberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Flavio Gutxi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but InZano Grosso FC's Rosendo Baumar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Gutxi in the 91st minute of play forced InZano Grosso FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Charrúa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
