Augusto Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Angel Mino made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Rocendo. Thea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Elias Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Rocendo having to interfere. Thea's Victorino Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Acuña was the one to do the kick off. After taking down the ball on La Patada Cubana's corner Aquilino Xabel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Augusto Rocendo quite easily take care of the ball. Ciriaco Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Thea got a corner. La Patada Cubana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 76th minute Angel Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, La Patada Cubana's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Acuña came free, but Ciriaco Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Rocendo having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, Thea's Victorino Acuña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 91 minutes into the match, Angel Mino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augusto Rocendo, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
